Marci Terpsma

Marci grew up small town Central Alberta in Carstairs where she was a multi-sport athlete throughout high school and University.  Once her playing career began to wind down, her passion for sports continued to be channeled into coaching.  Marci has been a coach in some capacity for the past 24yrs in hockey, ringette and for the past 13 years, she has coached softball.  She has coached softball teams at all levels of the game and continues to be a leader in the grassroots development of players in Alberta.  Her teams have competed and medaled in various provincial championships with the 2018 season being the highlight of her career as a softball coach.  Marci lead the River City Hornets U14 team to a second-place finish at the Alberta Provincial Championships before they went on the capture the Western Canada Championship in front of a home crowd in Edmonton.  Marci’s leadership in guiding her team to this championship was recognized by Softball Alberta when she was named the 2018 Softball Alberta Coach of the Year.

Professionally Marci is a Registered Massage Therapist and the Owner of Revive Health and Wellness Studio in Beaumont.  She is also a lead instructor at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy and coordinates that school’s community outreach program.

Marci is currently the head coach of the River City Hornets U16A team.
