Alberta Summer Games Program
The Games will be held in 2012.
Athletes must participate in the Tryout for the Zone Team in which they reside.
The Boys category is Under 16 as of January 1, 2012. The category is open with all categories of boys being eligible. Ex. Bantam ‘A’ & ‘B’ Boys, Pee Wee ‘A’, ‘B’ Boys.
The Girls category is Under 16 as of January 1, 2012. The category is for girls in the Bantam ‘B’, ‘C’ or ‘D’ level or the Pee Wee ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ or ‘D’ level. Any player that is affiliated in the Bantam ‘A’ category in 2011 or 2012 is not eligible to participate.
A player who has chosen not to play at the ‘A’ level in 2012, but was playing at the ‘A’ level in 2011 may participate provided that they meet the age requirements and go through a zone evaluation camp.
Note: An exceptional Squirt aged player may participate but they must be a minimum age of 12 by the time of the GAMES, or they would be ruled ineligible.
All players who participate in a zone camp must pay the $10 tryout fee per tryout to be eligible to be selected.
