The Constitution

The Alberta Amateur Softball Association (AASA) is registered under the Alberta Societies Act since 1948 and is the governing body for all facets of softball in the Province of Alberta.

Operating as Softball Alberta, the AASA is an affiliated member of the Canadian Amateur Softball Association (CASA) and is therefore instrumental in forming national policy. Softball Alberta is a unifying voice in dealing with government and private agencies in promoting the game of softball.

Softball Alberta receives funding from the Alberta Sports, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) in the areas of administration, leadership and programs. This funding received from the ASRPWF is designed to address the needs of the developing athlete.
